Responsibilities
Develop and refine proprietary factor risk models for diverse asset classes, including interest rates, commodities, credit, and equities.
Tailor vendor market risk models to meet specific needs.
Conduct research and create innovative models to tackle trading and risk management challenges.
Collaborate with risk managers to improve tail risk estimation for historical and hypothetical scenarios.
Process, assess, and transform large datasets pertinent to risk and performance analysis.
Design and implement cutting-edge performance analytics and risk decomposition applications.
Work alongside developers to operationalize risk models and risk management tools.
Maintain and enhance the risk production codebase.
Engage with investment teams to communicate insights and findings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Statistics; advanced degree preferred.
2 to 5 years of experience as a quantitative analyst in a hedge fund, institutional asset manager, or investment bank; familiarity with fixed income, commodities, credit, or options is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of linear algebra, applied probability, and statistics.
Proficient in Python and Linux environments.
Excellent cross-functional communication skills, capable of effective interaction at all organizational levels.
