As a Risk Management Analyst at VERSANT, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization across various risk and insurance functions. Your ability to cultivate and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders will be key to your success.

  • Manage competing priorities effectively while executing essential risk management functions, including:
  • Supporting diverse insurance programs such as Casualty, Management Liability, Media, Cyber, Property, Aviation, Pollution, and more.
  • Facilitating renewals and data collection with brokers, insurers, and internal teams.
  • Enhancing your skills in risk analysis, coverage analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborating with Safety, EHS, Facilities, vendors, and service providers.
  • Assisting in the review of insurance policies and contract negotiations.
  • Contributing to renewal efforts and program placements by evaluating underwriting submissions for completeness.
  • Conducting daily risk management and insurance functions to effectively manage both current and expired programs.
  • Participating in underwriting meetings with brokers and carriers.
  • Providing insights and direction on risk management that intersect with multiple functional areas like Finance, Real Estate, Legal, Global Facilities, Sourcing, and EHS.
  • Coordinating property insurer inspections for critical locations based on mission importance and current loss expectancy.
  • Engaging in the analysis of acquisitions from a multi-insurance coverage viewpoint.
  • Assessing and clearly communicating business risks related to operational and financial exposures.
  • Collaborating with service providers including risk engineering teams, insurers, and brokers, as well as internal VERSANT partners to maintain transparent communication regarding risk exposures.
  • Assisting in claims management as necessary.
  • Maintaining regular attendance and flexibility to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Supporting Treasury, Corporate Finance, and Investor Relations as needed, including creating presentations and sourcing information.
