Position Overview
As a Robot Field Operator, you will be a pivotal member of our team, conducting industrial robotic inspections and ensuring that customer expectations are met. You will operate in-field robotic systems in diverse industrial environments. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electromechanical equipment, including gears, motors, cameras, actuators, control boxes, and cables.
Key Responsibilities
This position is based in Aurora, NC. Relocation assistance may be offered to the right candidate.
Conduct robotic inspections at client sites in alignment with the Gecko Operations Lead and customer timelines.
Adhere to all safety procedures and policies established by Gecko and the customer, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Operate robotic inspection tools and ensure the integrity of collected data in industrial settings.
Achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and execution of job responsibilities.
Maintain robotic equipment through cleaning, repairs, and other necessary tasks when not in the field.
Ensure compliance with operational schedules.
Gather and communicate customer feedback and product insights to enhance service quality.
Complete all trip and expense reports and additional documentation related to field activities.
Stay current with technical knowledge regarding company services and tools.
Utilize assembly tools, including drills and grinders, as required.
Provide support to Robot/Field AUT Specialists, both in the field and in the workshop.
Carry out other tasks as directed.
