Qualifications

Minimum QualificationsPrior experience (academic or industrial) in the development of autonomous systems. Solid theoretical knowledge in one or more domains of autonomous driving: localization, perception, tracking & prediction, planning, control, or overall system development. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Physics, or a related field. Proficient in C++ (preferred) or Python programming, with strong algorithmic problem-solving skills. Practical experience with a Linux-based Operating System. Familiarity with the Robot Operating System (ROS) and tools such as Rviz, rqt, tf, etc. Strong mathematical reasoning skills, including a background in linear algebra, geometry, calculus, and probability. Robust engineering background with hands-on design and development experience.

AeroVect is seeking a talented Robotics Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions for reliable autonomous technologies in airside logistics. As a generalist engineer, you will be an integral part of our core autonomy team, responsible for defining system requirements and validating autonomous driving capabilities across various components of the autonomy stack. Your key responsibilities will include designing, implementing, testing, and documenting robotics systems and features in C/C++ for both desktop and embedded platforms.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth of our Advanced Driver Assistance Software (ADS) stack within a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment. Here, your contributions will directly influence the development of next-generation structured autonomy software, enhancing automated cargo movement at major airports around the world.

You will collaborate closely with and report directly to the Autonomy Lead, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
