We are currently seeking experienced Senior Machine Technicians/Line Leads to operate ERW tube rolling equipment on our 2nd Shift (3 PM - 2 AM). This pivotal role combines leadership with hands-on technical skills to ensure our operations run smoothly. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient maintenance, adjustment, and management of our rolling equipment while leading line operators to meet safety, quality, and production standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring all aspects of ERW Roll Form Equipment performance to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting regular safety inspections to maintain a safe working environment in accordance with ERW tube production standards.
  • Utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to align process inputs with customer specifications, ensuring product quality.
  • Facilitating tooling changeovers using Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) techniques to minimize production downtime.
  • Leading preventive maintenance efforts through Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices to prevent equipment malfunctions.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues with ERW roll forming equipment to optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Overseeing line performance to achieve daily production and quality targets.
  • Collaborating with the Production Supervisor to coordinate the efforts of line operators.
  • Ensuring accurate data entry into the company computer system in line with established protocols.
  • Complying with company policies and standards, including ISO 9001 and the Unimacts Operating System.
  • Participating in structured job training and adapting to new systems and methodologies as necessary.
