At OKTOBER, we are on the lookout for a dynamic and driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. As one of the fastest-growing Shopify Retention Agencies, we pride ourselves on our exceptional service that brands love. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of the top of our sales funnel by generating, qualifying, and converting leads into discovery calls for the founder to close.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and manage lead lists based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria across tiers 1–3.
Execute multichannel outbound sequences through email, LinkedIn, and optionally phone.
Personalize outreach efforts at scale while maintaining quality interactions.
Regularly test and optimize messaging and performance of outreach sequences.
Engage with post interactions and leverage warm interest in real-time.
Manage LinkedIn direct messages, qualify conversations, build rapport, and schedule calls.
Identify and connect with ICP prospects through comments and connection requests.
Qualify both inbound and outbound leads against ICP criteria.
Schedule discovery calls and provide briefings to the founder prior to each call.
Ensure CRM is consistently updated, with every interaction logged accurately.
Facilitate smooth handoffs to the founder at the optimal moment.
Deliver weekly reports detailing outbound activities, response rates, meetings scheduled, and pipeline value generated.
Success Metrics
Consistently book 4 - 5 qualified discovery calls each week.
Desired Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
Demonstrable experience as an SDR with proven results.
Expertise in running multichannel outbound sequences that feel personalized rather than spammy.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to personalize at scale.
Proficiency in leveraging LinkedIn for engagement, direct messages, and connections as a source for leads.
Strong CRM discipline to ensure thorough logging of all interactions.
Data-driven mindset, actively tracking performance and making necessary adjustments.
