Your Impact as a Sales Development Representative:

As a core component of our ambitious go-to-market strategy, Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are pivotal in fueling our sales pipeline. By engaging in independent outbound prospecting and managing a portion of inbound leads, the SDR team secures high-quality meetings with potential customers for our sales force. We achieve this through meticulous research, personalized messaging, and effective influence to encourage prospects to explore Rubrik’s offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify promising potential customers, understand Rubrik’s unique value proposition, and tailor your outreach to generate high-quality business meetings.
  • Engage in both outbound and inbound prospecting for enterprise customers through email, social media, and phone calls to qualify leads and set appointments.
  • Follow up on inbound leads from marketing efforts while adhering to compliance metrics, ensuring timely outreach and connection attempts.
  • Collaborate with the field sales team to devise strategies for penetrating new accounts.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and industry advancements to effectively address cybersecurity threats.
  • Become an expert in our solutions and articulate how we help clients maintain operational continuity.
  • Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce & Salesloft) to manage leads and sales activities effectively.
  • Take ownership of your performance and sales targets, providing regular updates to stakeholders; your effort directly correlates with your results!
  • Enhance your sales skills through team competitions, training boot camps, and interactive learning opportunities.
  • Receive ongoing coaching and professional development from managers to refine your call techniques and improve our customer service.
