Responsibilities:Collaborate with Commercial and Enterprise sales teams, including New Business, Expansion, Customer Success, and Professional Services. Engage with other Smartsheet teams to build account knowledge, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct interactions and insight tools. Schedule qualified meetings with our Sales Executives. Strategically prospect key account targets and contacts. Conduct engaging conversations via phone and email. Serve as a subject matter expert on Smartsheet products and services. Independently identify suitable companies and contacts for our services and decide on outreach methods including email, LinkedIn, and cold calling. Manage multiple outbound sequence campaigns within our sales engagement platform. Document all activities in Salesforce.com. Monitor social media for opportunities and leads while participating in outbound marketing initiatives. Utilize effective sales techniques to maximize interactions with prospects. Maintain a consistent level of activity to qualify and expand our sales pipeline.

We are currently seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative II to drive our sales pipeline and contribute to our revenue goals for the fiscal year. In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of our customers, target relevant accounts, and engage potential customers through various outbound strategies. As one of the initial points of contact for prospects, you will set the tone for the subsequent sales cycle. This position is an excellent opportunity to hone your prospecting and discovery skills in alignment with our Commercial and Enterprise teams.

The ideal candidate will be based centrally on the East Coast and will report to the East Sales Development Manager.
