About the Role
As the accounting sector evolves with AI-driven workflows, your role as a Sales Engineer on our Accounting Solutions team will be critical in demonstrating our capabilities to potential clients. This position is not client-facing; instead, you will focus on crafting the demo infrastructure, developing custom procedures, and creating enablement content that support our sales strategies. You will bridge the gap between accounting proficiency and technical execution, comfortably navigating both financial statements and Python scripts.
Located in our NYC Flatiron office, this is an in-person role.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain demo environments across accounting, finance, audit, and tax workflows.
Create tailored procedures within Basis that illustrate real accounting scenarios.
Automate repetitive tasks using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the Basis platform.
Stay updated on Basis product enhancements and convert new features into demo-ready assets.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure demos reflect actual customer workflows.
