About the Role:
As a Sales/Project Engineer for Zipline's Ground Systems and Site Infrastructure, you will lead the successful deployment of Zipline’s Offsite Charging sites, the groundbreaking autonomous loading Zipping Point, and other crucial site infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include tackling deployment challenges, devising innovative solutions tailored for partner sites, implementing effective strategies to overcome obstacles, and facilitating feedback and product enhancements to streamline and expedite the rollout of Zipline's delivery infrastructure. This role is ideal for technical engineers who excel in customer engagement, as you'll be designing solutions for new customers by understanding their feedback and requirements, sharing Zipline's core insights, and guiding all stakeholders throughout the process. You will engage in pre-contract discussions as the principal technical representative and will lead and manage projects from initial site evaluation through to construction and operational commencement, collaborating with various internal and external teams, including building and infrastructure groups, permitting authorities, installation teams, contractors, technical operations staff, and internal engineering and product teams. You will also work closely with broader Engineering teams, Deployment and Construction, Real Estate and Government Affairs, Community Engagement, and Legal teams to cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and secure necessary approvals to expand our network.
