Experience & Qualities:A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Sales Engineer role or a comparable professional position. Familiarity with or direct experience in software development. Hands-on experience with building or industrial automation systems. Proven capability in effectively integrating various software applications. A strong willingness to learn new technologies and apply them in real-world business scenarios, demonstrating high adaptability and coachability. Exceptional attention to detail, complemented by excellent organizational and task management skills. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong presentation abilities. Ability to quickly establish rapport with others, particularly over phone communication. Effective problem-solving skills, adept at listening to and addressing client and prospect concerns by aligning solutions with FMX offerings. Join FMX as a Sales Engineer, where you will play a vital role in enhancing revenue growth by delivering exceptional technical support to Account Executives and Account Managers throughout the sales process. Your innovative problem-solving skills will help identify unique solutions that add significant value to our product offerings.

In this dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative remote environment, you will facilitate communication across departments, acting as a crucial link between the product team and other segments of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and present detailed technical demonstrations of our products and services to existing and potential customers.
  • Assist Account Executives and Account Managers by performing technical demos that incorporate unique workflows and integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with sales executives to strategize and deliver impactful presentations for enterprise-level deals.
  • Engage in on-site demonstrations for enterprise clients, with travel requirements between 10-20%.
  • Leverage cutting-edge technology to enhance the sales process and uncover additional customer needs.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly and quarterly sales meetings, as well as customer success discussions.
  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with prospects, utilizing your understanding of their business requirements to address their needs effectively.
  • Contribute to daily standups with the development team and participate in quarterly strategic planning sessions.
  • Gather and document competitive insights to inform product development.
  • Communicate client and prospect feedback to the product team for enhancements.
  • Organize and relay themes and trends identified by prospects throughout the sales cycle to the executive and product teams.
