About the Role

As a Sales Representative, you will take full ownership of the Pet Independent channel in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria for our client's operations in Germany. You will have the autonomy to elevate this channel from a challenger brand to a household name. Your responsibilities will include managing selected wholesale distributors and enhancing our brand’s market share and penetration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent support for the sales territory of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria.
  • Foster and expand existing customer relationships (pet retailers, specialist stores, veterinarians).
  • Plan and execute customer visits, sales events, and trade fairs.
  • Acquire new business partners within your sales region.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies effectively.
  • Present and advise on all aspects of our diverse product range.
  • Conduct sales campaigns, training sessions, and product demonstrations on-site.
  • Monitor market trends and competition, collaborating closely with office staff.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in field sales or sales, preferably within the pet or FMCG sector.
  • Residence in Bavaria is highly desirable, along with a valid class B driver's license.
  • Exceptional customer orientation, strong communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, with a willingness to travel.
  • Charismatic and persuasive personality that engages others with our product range.
  • Remain composed and focused even in challenging situations.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for animals and their well-being.
