As a Sales Support Officer, you will be instrumental in bolstering our sales and business development teams. You'll collaborate closely with our bid team, the specialists who craft compelling proposals to secure new client projects.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the complete sales cycle. You will learn how companies address client inquiries, structure commercial offers, and work collaboratively across departments to secure new business. Your contributions will not only influence significant deals, but also enable our sales teams to concentrate on their core strengths: building client relationships and closing sales.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Tracking, registering, and centralizing all incoming sales opportunities and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) within our internal sales management system.
- Maintaining precise and current records of all opportunities while ensuring data consistency across tools.
- Assisting in the creation of high-quality, customized responses to client requests in conjunction with the bid team.
- Coordinating input and contributions from essential internal stakeholders, including technical, delivery, finance, and legal teams.
- Facilitating proposal timelines, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely submission of deliverables.
- Preparing supporting materials, summaries, and information for internal business development and sales meetings.
- Updating dashboards, trackers, and reporting documents to reflect ongoing sales activities.
- Organizing and structuring vital information related to each opportunity to minimize the administrative burden on the sales team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, IT, Sales, Management, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- Recent graduate or junior professional with 1 to 3 years of experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools:
- PowerPoint (for presentations)
- Excel (for tracking & analysis)
- Word and Outlook
- A collaborative, service-oriented, and proactive mindset.
- Able to work with diverse stakeholders and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in French and English, with superior writing abilities.
