Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP HCM configuration, with a specific focus on Payroll (FI experience is advantageous).• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Payroll applications and a solid understanding of integration points.• Familiarity with US Tax Models.• Basic understanding of Time Management, including Attendance, Absences, and Time Off.• Hands-on experience with PCRs and Schema.• Proven expertise in payroll processes, payroll clusters, off-cycle payroll, third-party remittance, benefits management, garnishments, and process modeling.• The candidate should be proficient in gathering requirements from business users, presenting appropriate SAP options, and articulating the pros and cons associated with each option.• Desired experience with Enhancement Pack for ECC 6.0 Enh7, Netweaver, Java, JavaScript, XML, IDoc, Business Connector, and SDLC.• Comprehensive knowledge of payroll business processes and design skills.• Experience with SAP ERP implementation from project preparation through to Go-Live.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal business stakeholders and team members to identify integration and re-engineering opportunities.

• Effectively manage multiple development, support, and ongoing maintenance projects while adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that enhance complex business processes.

• Collect information, evaluate alternatives, draft requirements, and create functional/technical specifications while estimating development time needed to fulfill business needs.

• Convert proposed business processes into accurate SAP configurations.

• Partner with the project team to validate that all SAP designs are correct, ensuring customizations are implemented only when necessary for the business.

• Ensure that any required customizations adhere to SAP best practices.

• Serve as a liaison with business customers to troubleshoot system issues: investigate, analyze, and resolve software problems; recommend both short-term and long-term solutions; develop product modifications and implementation plans.

• Address complex issues involving system operations, monitoring jobs, making routine program modifications, enhancing performance, and participate in on-call rotations.

• Define and implement workaround processes, corrective actions, communication strategies, and system cleanup activities.

• Design and execute unit test plans, both positive and negative, and assist in the development of regression and performance test plans for enhancements or new releases in various testing and production environments.
