Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives across the Customer Entitlement Management teams.
- Monitor and communicate scrum metrics, including team velocity and sprint/release progress.
- Oversee the creation and coordination of Release and Change Management activities.
- Ensure adherence to Agile/scrum principles and make informed decisions when necessary.
- Assist the product owner in establishing sprint priorities and meeting release deadlines.
- Enhance internal and external communications to increase transparency and disseminate information effectively.
- Coordinate activities between the Customer Entitlement Management and interdependent teams.
- Proactively manage the impacts of new changes to business systems.
- Support team development by leveraging individual skills, including:
- Empowering self-organization within the team.
- Facilitating discussions and resolving conflicts.
- Promoting a culture of feedback.
- Ensuring effective monitoring, tracking, and alerting in support of our production environments.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and its associated processes.
- A genuine enthusiasm for Agile practices and extensive experience as a Scrum Master.
- Familiarity with iterative and incremental development and the significance of metrics.
- Understanding of the importance of commitments made by development teams to deliverables.
- Proficient in backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
- Strong technical background to engage effectively in development discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
