As an Associate Director of Sales at NielsenIQ, you will play a crucial role in delivering leading global information services and products to our clientele, primarily within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. Our comprehensive data provides timely insights on market shares, category penetration, competitive sales volumes, and key aspects of distribution, pricing, merchandising, and promotions. By integrating this detailed information with our professional consultative services, we empower FMCG brands and retailers to enhance their manufacturing, marketing, and sales strategies. Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Lead the engagement with designated client accounts by understanding their business objectives.
- Develop relationships across all levels of the client organization to uncover opportunities for additional product or solution offerings.
- Share and present insights and thought leadership materials to foster engagement across client teams.
- Work collaboratively with Customer Success and Operations teams to ensure alignment with client service standards.
Business Development
- Identify and propose relevant product solutions to address client business challenges and opportunities.
- Establish a strategic sales framework aimed at retaining existing clients while attracting new ones.
- Develop strategies to re-engage lapsed clients and promote new services to drive adoption.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline through continuous client engagement.
- Enhance the company’s reputation through active participation in industry associations and conferences.
- Contribute to the business unit's short-term strategies and growth plans aligned with global and regional directives.
Financial Management
- Achieve key financial targets including revenue, profitability, and cash collection.
- Ensure compliance with pricing and contract policies.
- Implement the company's financial guidelines, including forecast and pipeline management.
- Utilize sales technology and digital tools to efficiently manage prospects and sales processes.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budget forecasts and implement necessary actions to meet targets.
