As a part-time Front Desk Associate during the summer at our Irvine, CA location, you will be the welcoming face of AoPS Academy. Your primary responsibilities will include answering phone calls and emails, greeting current and prospective students and their families, and supporting the smooth operation of campus activities. You will also assist with inventory management, maintaining facility cleanliness, and supporting full-time staff with various campus procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the campus receptionist, managing phone calls, voicemails, and relaying information to the appropriate staff.
  • Greet current and prospective students and their families with warmth and professionalism.
  • Manage customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely responses.
  • Maintain multiple calendars and schedule meetings, keeping all information current.
  • Utilize internal databases for report generation and data entry tasks.
  • Assist with admissions processes, including consultation requests and follow-ups.
  • Organize and prepare supplies for classrooms and office use.
  • Support campus operations by taking inventory of supplies.
  • Supervise students during breaks between classes.
  • Perform light cleaning and organization of the facility.
  • Ensure the lobby and front desk areas are well-organized and presentable.
  • Assist full-time staff with various campus procedures for operational efficiency.
  • Engage in occasional outreach opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
