Position Overview: Security and Threat Operations Engineer
As a Security and Threat Operations Engineer at OnePay, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our fast-paced fintech ecosystem. Your responsibilities will involve transforming production signals into effective detection, response, and fortification strategies in collaboration with Product Security, Platform Security, and Engineering teams. Your contributions will help us to proactively detect, monitor, and eliminate compromised activities across OnePay's products and infrastructure, thereby preserving the security and trust of our operations and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize detection systems, alerts, and monitoring workflows across cloud, application, identity, and edge environments.
- Analyze traffic patterns across APIs, authentication processes, and WAF telemetry to uncover malicious activities, abuse patterns, and anomalous behaviors.
- Utilize AI effectively to enhance triage, analysis, and workflow automation while establishing guidelines for AI-enabled systems.
- Support OnePay’s vulnerability management program by prioritizing and managing remediation efforts stemming from findings through Wiz, vulnerability scans, and related processes.
- Implement Python-based tools to automate security tasks and streamline operations.
