Second Front Systems is hiring a Security Authorization Specialist to help protect national security by managing security authorization for the Game Warden platform. This fully remote position focuses on supporting secure SaaS adoption for U. S. government agencies, ensuring compliance and security for systems that are critical to federal missions.
Role overview
This role centers on overseeing security authorization processes for Game Warden. The work directly impacts how government agencies adopt and use secure SaaS solutions. The Security Authorization Specialist will handle both initial and ongoing authorization activities, helping maintain a strong security posture for the platform.
What you will do
- Manage authorization workstreams for Game Warden, including initial authorizations, annual assessments, and significant change requests.
- Draft and update System Security Plans (SSPs), control narratives, and Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms), along with other required documentation.
- Conduct continuous monitoring tasks, such as monthly POA&M updates, vulnerability assessments, patch reporting, change reviews, and annual control assessments.
Location and eligibility
This position is open only to U. S. citizens, as required by government contracts. Candidates must live in one of these locations:
- Washington D. C., Maryland, or Virginia
- Raleigh, Durham, or Chapel Hill, NC
- Denver or Colorado Springs, CO
- Dallas or Fort Worth, TX
