Responsibilities of an AI Engineer at Collibra Stay updated on the evolving AI/ML landscape, including emerging techniques and cutting-edge approaches. Transform prototypes into effective, production-ready solutions that address significant business challenges. Create, operationalize, and support AI/ML models and visualizations that deliver actionable insights and value. Assess algorithmic outcomes for quality, adaptability, and efficiency. Contribute to the enhancement of our platforms for AI and ML capabilities supporting Collibra’s data products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers on AI best practices. Your Qualifications 5+ years of experience in delivering production-grade AI/ML projects relevant to business functions, utilizing advanced techniques (e.g., LLM applications, RAG systems, NLP, neural networks, recommendation systems). Proficient in SQL and relational databases, with experience in crafting queries and familiarity with various database types (e.g., time series, graph, vector). Proven experience in building and deploying production code in Python alongside AI modules (LangChain, LangGraph, Pandas, Numpy, Tensorflow, etc.). Knowledgeable in model evaluation, testing frameworks, and validation methodologies. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
