Qualifications

At least six (6) years of hands-on experience in avionics for aircraft, with a preference for rotorcraft. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and diagrams, with the ability to apply standard shop practices for the fabrication and modification of aircraft structures. A current A&P license is advantageous. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.

Join Our Team! We are seeking an experienced Senior Aircraft Avionics Technician to become an integral part of our New Helicopter Completions team located in Columbus, MS.

This is a temporary contract position with flexible duration, allowing for possible extensions based on project needs.

In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to assemble, install, repair, and replace aircraft electrical and electronic components and systems. Your expertise will contribute to the manufacture, maintenance, and refurbishment of aircraft while ensuring the functionality of all components.

  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with your lead to manage schedules, priorities, and availability of necessary parts and tools.
  • Execute tasks using blueprints, sketches, vendor manuals, and other technical resources to ensure precision in dimensions, locations, alignment, and tolerances.
  • Utilize a range of standard and specialized tools, power equipment, measuring instruments, and testing devices to complete your assignments.
  • Ensure that all work complies with FAA regulations, client specifications, and company quality standards.
