Your Impact
Our Digital Evidence Management Systems are crucial for enhancing officer efficiency, and Axon's mobile applications—Axon App, View, and Capture—are vital for evidence acquisition. Axon View integrates with body-worn cameras to provide live camera streams and to view and tag previously collected evidence. Axon Capture is responsible for gathering digital evidence (photos, videos, audio) and uploading it to Axon’s evidence management service for subsequent processing. The Axon App ensures seamless access to Axon Evidence, Axon Records, and Axon Standards, anytime and anywhere.
What You’ll Do
Work Location: This position is based in our Ho Chi Minh office and follows a hybrid work schedule. We emphasize the importance of in-person collaboration, requiring team members to be on-site from Tuesday to Friday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays unless an approved workplace accommodation is in place. We believe that meaningful connections enhance innovation, and our office culture is structured to promote teamwork, mentorship, and collective success.
Reports to: Engineering Manager, Mobile Development
Your Day-to-Day
- Design, implement, and maintain features within our applications and related shared libraries.
- Collaborate within Mobile Scrum teams to achieve sprint goals and coordinate with other teams to ensure we develop and deliver the right solutions.
- Uphold high technical standards for the team through thorough code and design reviews.
- Explore optimal solutions for complex challenges.
What You Bring
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing Android applications. You possess in-depth knowledge of the platform and are well-versed in key Android frameworks and technologies essential for our applications (networking, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, audio, video, and photography). You are proactive in driving engineering projects to completion, demonstrating skills in evaluation, planning, estimation, communication, and collaboration. You can quickly adapt, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions.
