Position Overview
In the role of Senior Application Engineer, you will be a pivotal member of our team, responsible for defining and developing the core application utilized by scientists, clinicians, and collaborators to interact with our specialized multi-modal hardware product. Collaborating closely with our hardware team, you will explore the possibilities, design intuitive user interfaces for clinicians, and craft efficient tools for our research scientists. This position, which reports to the Head of Software, is highly collaborative, engaging with data engineers to leverage our cutting-edge data platform and offer low-code and no-code solutions for complex laboratory workflows. You will cater to a diverse user base, from hardware engineers needing flexible, high-performance APIs to external research partners requiring user-friendly interfaces with built-in safeguards. A meticulous approach and a commitment to ethical software development are essential, as every user interaction must exemplify the highest standards of scientific practice.
Key Responsibilities
Develop software solutions enabling scientists to create tailored 3+1D treatment plans that combine functional ultrasound imaging with targeted ultrasound neuromodulation.
Integrate ultrasound, microscopy, gantry, and other automation APIs into a cohesive application for executing both unique experiments and high-throughput screening.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with user needs and safety standards.
