What you will do

  • Direct the architectural design process for multiple projects, making sure solutions fit client requirements, budgets, and technical needs.
  • Provide technical leadership to project teams, reviewing and approving construction documents, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and quality.
  • Oversee integration of building systems, working with consultants to ensure technical solutions are executed smoothly.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing communication and project oversight to fulfill expectations.
  • Mentor junior architects and designers, helping them solve design and technical challenges and supporting their professional growth.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, working closely with project managers to deliver on time and within financial targets.
  • Maintain compliance with building codes, zoning, and sustainability standards, addressing regulatory issues as they arise.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks at key stages of design and construction to ensure all work meets internal and client standards.
  • Lead construction administration tasks, including site visits, reviewing submissions, and resolving technical questions during construction.
  • Support business development by helping draft proposals, preparing presentations, and consulting with clients to highlight the firm’s capabilities.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build relationships and strengthen the firm’s market presence.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, including punch list resolution and post-occupancy evaluations.
