Our Fort Worth studio is in search of a talented Senior Architect to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview

As a Senior Architect at DLR Group, you will play a vital leadership role in managing critical project components while ensuring the high quality of project documentation. You will work closely with our integrated design teams, delivering exceptional work that aligns with project timelines, budgets, and operational plans.

In collaboration with the Project Manager, you will help maintain the project’s financial health, oversee the quality of project documents, prevent claims, and facilitate effective team collaboration and communication. You will also lead cross-functional design disciplines to devise technical solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead project development efforts and foster client relationships in coordination with the Project Manager and Project Designer.
  • Oversee quality assurance/control, ensuring compliance with practice standards and protocols.
  • Align design objectives with project timelines, budgets, and profitability goals.
  • Drive conceptual design and technical strategies while coordinating all building design disciplines.
  • Present design and technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide teams to deliver high-quality outputs and promote design excellence.
  • Implement quality assurance and control measures throughout all phases of the project.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Project Manager and design team to ensure alignment with design intent.
  • Manage client expectations and cultivate robust relationships through effective communication.
