Role overview
The Senior Avionics Engineer leads the design, development, and validation of high-power avionics systems. The focus is on advanced power electronics for ion propulsion and high-voltage distribution, ensuring hardware delivers reliable and efficient performance in space environments. This position manages projects from initial concept through production, maintaining high standards throughout.
What you will do
- Design high-voltage DC-DC converters, precision power distribution units, and custom magnetics
- Meet demanding requirements for efficiency, thermal management, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
- Oversee projects from early design stages through full-scale production
- Guide technical decisions and encourage innovation in avionics hardware
