As a Senior Backend / Platform Engineer at causaprima, you will take charge of the foundational platform that empowers our agents. This includes overseeing an event-driven architecture, managing data pipelines, integrating with customer accounting systems, and ensuring the infrastructure is reliable, auditable, and swift.
Key Responsibilities
Event Store Management — Lead the development of an append-only PostgreSQL event store featuring tamper-evident hash chaining, real-time event distribution, agent replay capabilities, and schema versioning.
Cryptographic Signature Infrastructure — Implement key management and signature verification for all agent events, including establishing approval chains for external actions.
Workflow Constraint Engine — Develop a robust gateway that verifies authorization before any external action (email, payment, API call) is executed.
PII Vault & GDPR Compliance — Ensure the safe storage of personal data through isolated, encrypted solutions, allowing for the right to erasure and data residency per region.
Multi-Tenancy Architecture — Design systems that incorporate row-level security and tenant isolation across all data stores, including tenant-scoped LLM API keys.
Authorization (Cerbos) — Implement attribute-based access control for agents and humans with deterministic policy evaluations, ensuring LLMs are not responsible for authorization decisions.
MCP Security Layer — Establish authentication protocols, capability-based scoping per partner, and rate limiting for the Model Context Protocol endpoint.
Database Architecture — Drive PostgreSQL schema design, create effective indexing strategies, and enhance performance tuning and read replica topology.
