Senior Software Engineer - Backend
Join our dynamic Platform team as a Software Engineer, where your role will involve designing and developing services that autonomously manage satellites, monitor telemetry for anomalies, and provide real-time situational awareness to ensure the safety and operational integrity of our fleet. You will play a crucial role in building the foundational components and services that empower our software organization, enabling all teams to operate more efficiently and reliably.
In this position, you will help shape the core software that our satellites rely on for flawless performance.
This role encompasses contributions to both our commercial and US government initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement high-performance, reliable, mission-critical software for satellite command operations.
- Take full ownership of features, collaborating across backend and infrastructure.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to define software requirements, architectures, and designs.
- Continuously evaluate the evolving technology landscape and advocate for innovations to enhance our systems.
- Mentor colleagues, share insights, and elevate the technical standards within the team.
