As a Senior Backend Software Engineer specializing in Go, you will play a pivotal role in developing a robust service-oriented architecture within a dynamic and expanding industry.
We are seeking talented Backend Engineers with a minimum of 5 years of experience who are passionate about tackling complex challenges. Our commitment lies in delivering high-quality solutions with a focus on observability, speed, and a comprehensive understanding of the backend platform.
Key Skills Required
Core Competencies
- Expertise in service-oriented architectures, design patterns, and data structures
- Proficiency in test automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- Understanding operational aspects of building and maintaining high-performance applications
- Experience with both relational and non-relational databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps
What You Excel At
- Self-motivated and organized, capable of working independently towards team goals
- Designing and building highly concurrent, transactional, and resilient services
- Engaging with diverse network and communication protocols, including HTTP, gRPC, and Pub/Sub
- Creating maintainable and robust APIs using Go
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate in an Agile environment to develop and maintain features;
- Write testable code while ensuring adequate test coverage;
- Document your code thoroughly;
- Own the code lifecycle from development to deployment and maintenance;
- Diagnose production issues and develop effective solutions;
- Work both independently and as part of a team to accomplish tasks;
- Contribute significantly to solution design and implementation.
