In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the enhancement of our backend job processing engine, focusing on scalability and performance. As a member of our expanding software engineering team, your responsibilities will extend beyond a single component of our product or technology stack.
This position transcends mere code writing; you will play a crucial role in influencing our technical direction, product evolution, and company culture. Our engineering team is collaborative and supportive, taking pride in our collective accomplishments and the challenges we tackle. Location:
This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Ireland. You also have the option to utilize our office space in Dublin for team meetups when desired.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate closely with team members to devise optimal solutions for our customers' challenges.
- Implement meaningful changes to our codebase within your first week, with rapid deployment to production.
- Shape the workflow execution process at the core of our system, helping us power the world’s most important workflows.
- Write and review high-quality, thoroughly tested code to ensure a stable product for our customers and a manageable codebase for our team.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within our codebase and operational processes.
