Qualifications
SUMMARY:As a Senior Big Data Engineer within Placer.ai's Mobility Group, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports our location analytics platform. RESPONSIBILITIES:Data Pipeline Architecture and Development: Create, build, and enhance robust and scalable data pipelines to process, transform, and integrate substantial volumes of data from diverse sources into our analytics platform. Data Quality Assurance: Employ data validation, cleansing, and enrichment methodologies to guarantee high-quality and consistent data across the platform. Performance Optimization: Identify performance limitations and optimize data processing and storage systems to improve overall performance and minimize latency. Cloud Infrastructure: Engage extensively with cloud technologies (GCP and AWS) to design and manage scalable data infrastructures. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Software Engineers, to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions that align with business objectives. Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance practices to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and best practices regarding data privacy and security. Monitoring and Maintenance of data infrastructure.
