Basic Qualifications:At least 5 years of relevant experience in a technical role. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Radio, Television & Film, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred Skills & Experience:Experience supporting mid to large market news or live event production operations and 24/7 mission-critical technology facilities. Proficient in planning, implementing, and supporting media technology including SDI, NDI, ST-2110 video infrastructures, encoding, live production systems, NRCS, NLE, media asset management, and transmission systems. Strong background in core IT principles including administration of physical, virtualized, and cloud computing/storage, networking, and identity management. Proven track record of leading complex projects that satisfy stakeholder requirements.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting NBC10 Boston, NBC Sports Boston, and Telemundo New England by implementing and maintaining critical technology solutions for our media production and enterprise IT environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the requirements gathering and implementation of technical and workflow solutions tailored for News, Production, and Creative Services partners.
  • Oversee the administration of media production applications and infrastructure, ensuring optimal technology reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for system operations and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver top-notch technical support, manage incident responses, and maintain clear communication with customers.
  • Ensure adherence to NBCUniversal’s cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with Facility Specialists and the Director of Technology to manage vendor relations and facility repair needs.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
