The Senior Budget Analyst - Execution and Formulation at Analytic Solutions Group plays a central role in the Intelligence Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution Process. This position is based in McLean, Virginia, and focuses on the full lifecycle of budget management, from development and formulation to execution and monitoring. The analyst ensures financial resources are allocated effectively to support organizational goals.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and monitor budgets, spending plans, contracts, and financial commitments for multiple directorates and components.
- Analyze detailed financial data to identify trends, manage expenditures, and provide insights that guide strategic decisions.
- Conduct in-depth financial reviews to pinpoint areas for improvement and implement strategies that enhance fiscal efficiency and accountability.
- Act as a liaison among government stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and collaboration to align financial plans with organizational priorities.
- Support the formulation and execution of the National Intelligence Program (NIP) Budget, ensuring alignment with NIP objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and foster transparency across the organization.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in financial management, budget formulation, and execution, preferably within the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data and supporting informed decision-making.
- Proficiency in expenditure forecasting and fiscal oversight.
