Position Overview:

As a Senior Build Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming innovative product designs into reality. Collaborating with our Design and Test Engineering teams, you will apply your engineering expertise to expedite the design and manufacturing process, expanding Amca’s product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the prototyping and initial builds of new hardware designs.

  • Collaborate with Design Engineering teams to ensure requirements align with end-use applications.

  • Take full ownership of the manufacturing and assembly of new product designs.

  • Prototype new components while prioritizing manufacturability, integration, and performance.

  • Assist Test Engineering teams in developing necessary test equipment.

  • Work closely with Design Engineers to guarantee manufacturability at production facilities and ensure DFM feedback is integrated.

  • Manage tooling configurations, including drawing revisions, BOM structures, and part configurations, adhering to aerospace standards and internal controls.

  • Provide continuous feedback to engineering teams to optimize product reliability and cost.

  • Support build and manufacturing processes in internal shops.

  • Assist in equipment selection and onboarding.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on manufacturing processes.

  • Assist Amca with subsidiary diligence and overall company development.

Evaluate product catalogs to identify areas of opportunity for expansion.
