We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will design and enhance processes while defining software tool requirements for our development staff. You will conduct testing to ensure alignment with requirements, integrate systems, and manage projects pertaining to selected development efforts.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing designs, utilizing software tools to gather requirements, analyzing business needs, identifying potential risks, proposing designs, documenting processes, and performing financial analyses.
This position requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the duties mentioned above. You must have extensive knowledge in system integration, testing, and change management to support applications and modifications effectively.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in writing system design documents and other relevant system documentation. Familiarity with the full product life cycle is essential, including requirements analysis as well as test plan and test case development.
Experience with test automation and build management tools (such as Vault) is required. You should be able to quickly grasp business process analysis, benchmarking techniques, and leverage technology to address business challenges related to the PIDS System.
Excellent communication skills are necessary, as you will be expected to convey technical matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational and relationship management skills are a must, along with the ability to oversee multiple projects and coordinate project team activities.
Experience with CA/Clarity software for management reporting and tracking across projects is essential. You will also be responsible for communicating and managing requirements while ensuring the successful delivery of rail support systems for a significant extension of an operational mass transit rail system.
Your required experience includes managing and coordinating tests and modifications for integrated rail support systems, identifying training needs, and overseeing training delivery. Additionally, you will manage inter-organizational, inter-departmental, and interdisciplinary logistical support across various contracts while supporting startup operations.
Knowledge of theories, principles, and standard practices in transportation systems as applied in transit agencies and public entities is critical. This includes expertise in Automatic Train Control, Automatic Train Supervision, and integration with passenger information systems, as well as incident reporting and alarm systems applications.
Finally, familiarity with methods, tools, and techniques for evaluating, selecting, developing, testing, implementing, integrating, and troubleshooting software applications and systems is required.
