About the job

As a Senior Client Executive at Precious Communications, you will assume a pivotal leadership role overseeing your accounts. This position entails managing daily communications programs while actively contributing to strategic initiatives and achieving outstanding results across earned media, social platforms, and digital channels. You will take on more responsibilities by leading work-in-progress (WIP) meetings, providing expert advice to clients, managing budgets, and mentoring junior team members, all while staying attuned to industry trends and media behaviors.

This role is a significant advancement from the Client Executive position, transitioning you from execution to leadership.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Account & Project Management
  • Take complete ownership of daily account operations and communications, ensuring all efforts align with agreed scopes, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Lead WIP meetings confidently, setting agendas, guiding discussions, and managing follow-ups effectively.
  • Prepare all client deliverables, including meeting notes, trackers, activity reports, and evaluation summaries, with a keen eye for accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.
  • Oversee the implementation and coordination of campaigns across multiple touchpoints.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors (e.g., designers, production teams, event partners), ensuring proper briefing, coordination, and quality control.
  • Assist in campaign budgeting and costing, help the account lead track project spending and manage scope effectively.
  • Identify operational risks, resourcing gaps, or timeline challenges early, and take the initiative to resolve them promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with junior team members, providing guidance when necessary while remaining hands-on in execution and problem-solving.

2. Media & Influencer Relations

  • Lead media pitching efforts, crafting story angles, writing and personalizing pitches, and driving follow-ups until results are secured.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with media and influencers within relevant client sectors.
  • Provide clients with strategic recommendations on media engagement, tone, or positioning, especially in low-RSVP or crisis contexts.
  • Stay updated on evolving media trends and flag opportunities accordingly.
