Key Responsibilities:
- Work in an Agile IT environment to establish a cloud-based technology solution within a government-provided hybrid cloud environment, ensuring security, performance, and scalability for clients.
- Support the customer cloud strategy to leverage DoD-approved cloud service providers for IT services, encompassing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Data as a Service (DaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Engineer solutions that meet specific customer business needs.
- Act as a trusted Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) guiding technical decisions during client engagements and developing innovative strategies utilizing Cloud best practices.
- Conduct architecture, design, and requirements analysis with a focus on cloud-native services while optimizing the customer landscape.
- Develop and implement deployment and process automation capabilities (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, Python) to create repeatable and scalable processes.
- Utilize DevSecOps practices with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to maintain a fully integrated environment for infrastructure and application deployment.
- Take ownership of technical issues, providing high-priority support and complex problem resolution to customers.
- Create comprehensive documentation including design artifacts and user guides to establish technical baselines and operational capabilities for enterprise-scale cloud environments.
