Key Responsibilities
- Champion and uphold a robust safety culture with all construction team members.
- Commission and test high-voltage equipment including circuit breakers, transformers, manual and motor-operated switches, current transformers, voltage transformers, capacitor banks, and circuit switchers.
- Commission protection and control relays such as SEL, GE, Siemens, and ABB.
- Commission control circuits for protection, indication, and monitoring systems.
- Conduct acceptance and maintenance testing on electrical equipment ranging from 600V to 500kV.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of protection and control systems, including SCADA, in medium to high-voltage transmission substations.
- Work with various protection schemes, including differential, distance, line protection, transformer protection, and overcurrent protection.
- Interpret electrical drawings and schematics, analyze testing results, and recommend corrective actions.
