We are currently seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant with a strong customer focus and expertise in compensation. This role is pivotal in shaping our competitive global compensation strategies, aimed at attracting, retaining, and motivating our most valuable asset, our employees.
This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Compensation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Influence the execution and design of the global compensation strategy, including job leveling, career-pathing, job architecture development, and reward recognition.
- Support compensation review cycles through administration, distribution, mentoring, and communication of compensation programs and guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior team members to establish new salary ranges in new markets that Smartsheet is entering.
- Analyze the effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model the potential impact of alternatives.
- Monitor and interpret relevant pay-related regulations in coordination with HR, Legal, and external advisors.
- Lead proactive consultations with talent acquisition, people business partners, and management teams to evaluate jobs and benchmark compensation using market data and internal evaluations.
- Leverage AI and automation to enhance modeling, scenario planning, pay transparency, and scalability.
- Contribute to initiatives that promote business outcomes through an effective compensation strategy, supporting project lifecycle from problem identification to implementation and change support.
- Establish collaborative, cross-functional partnerships with client groups to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our compensation philosophy.
- Work with Total Rewards department leaders to enhance processes and systems, potentially leading or participating in compensation projects.
