Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement compute-efficient models for our deployed robots, extracting and analyzing vast sensor data to enhance environmental awareness and deliver actionable inventory insights to our clients. We thrive on creativity, problem-solving, and ongoing learning, encouraging you to explore the latest technologies to bolster our machine learning capabilities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop cutting-edge solutions for complex computer vision tasks, including monocular and stereo depth estimation, learning-based structure-from-motion, 3D occupancy networks, scene understanding, and object detection.
  • Enhance the performance, accuracy, and speed of compute-constrained models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CV/ML models in production environments.
  • Refine ML pipelines and infrastructure for effective dataset management, training, and deployment.
  • Engage in research and development initiatives (20% of your time) to experiment with state-of-the-art techniques and technologies.
  • Contribute to business value by leveraging your expertise across robotics, software, and deployment teams.

This position offers a hybrid work environment in Mountain View, CA. While U. S. work authorization is preferred, we are open to sponsoring visas for the right candidate.
