Role Overview
The Senior Cryogenic Engineer will lead the development of deuterium–tritium (DT) fuel handling and target filling systems for Xcimer’s Vulcan and Athena programs. This work is central to producing reliable, repeatable cryogenic targets and supporting high-repetition-rate fusion experiments.
What You Will Do
- Design, integrate, and operate DT filling systems for fusion target production
- Work closely with teams specializing in cryogenics, target fabrication, tritium handling, and experimental operations
- Support the creation of systems that enable consistent, high-quality cryogenic targets for experimental campaigns
Who We’re Looking For
Xcimer seeks engineers with strong technical skills, practical problem-solving abilities, and a drive for excellence. Experience with cryogenic systems, fuel handling, or related experimental operations is valuable.
