What We Are Looking For:At least 3 years of experience in fraud detection, financial data analysis, risk management, or trust and safety. Strong proficiency in SQL, with a solid understanding of Python for data analysis and visualization preferred. Thorough knowledge of fraud detection methodologies and the broader fraud landscape. Able to work with large datasets and extract actionable insights from data. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across teams. Familiarity with the analysis of web-based and API abuse is advantageous.

As a Senior Cybersecurity Fraud Analyst, you will utilize your extensive knowledge in data analysis, financial transactions, and web traffic analysis to identify and investigate potential fraudulent activities on our hCaptcha SaaS security platform. Your role will be crucial in safeguarding our systems and enhancing our fraud detection capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, identify, and analyze data from various sources, including financial transactions and web traffic, to detect and respond to fraudulent activities.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations into complex fraud patterns, utilizing behavior analysis and anomaly detection to assess risk and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Engineering, Product, and Customer Support, to bolster fraud detection and prevention strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of fraud detection automation, dashboards, and reporting systems.
  • Continuously audit and refine fraud detection measures to align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Keep abreast of emerging fraud trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure the effectiveness of our fraud prevention strategies.
