We are in search of skilled Analytics Engineers who can help shape a new function within the Data Platform, focusing on supporting our essential data assets across various domains at The New York Times.As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will collaborate with diverse teams to manage, enhance, and ensure the quality of data across specific organizational domains, facilitating efficient, data-driven decisions and experiences. You will become a subject matter expert within these domains, playing a crucial role in data initiatives and reporting directly to the Executive Director of Analytics Engineering.Key Responsibilities:Act as a Data Platform Evangelist by offering frameworks, training, and guidance to enable individuals to effectively utilize data platform capabilities and articulate well-defined data requirements.Establish data management frameworks providing clear guidelines for data producers, while collaborating with data platform teams to enhance data quality and accessibility.
