KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Data Warehousing and BI Expertise:Comprehensive understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence (BI) technologies, specifically Power BI and SQL querying. Proven capability to develop and sustain complex dashboards, reports, and alerts, along with creating requirement specifications, technical designs, and user training documentation. Communication and Team Leadership:Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across departments and clear instruction to team members. Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of mentoring team members to reach their full potential. Project and Time Management:Ability to independently manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment. Strong time management skills and capacity to thrive under pressure.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Data Analyst is pivotal in managing the entire data lifecycle—from crafting intricate queries to delivering actionable insights to executive leadership. This role involves spotting trends that bolster revenue, enhancing operational efficiency, and guiding junior analysts in their professional development.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Solution Development:

  • Lead and oversee data warehouse initiatives, covering all phases from planning and design through to implementation and ongoing support.
  • Engage with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into impactful technical solutions for data reporting and analysis.
  • Design, develop, and refine query-driven dashboards, reports, KPIs, and advanced analytics to facilitate informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in data warehousing, business intelligence (BI) technologies, and analytics to introduce innovative solutions to the team.

On-Call and Technical Support:

  • Provide on-call support as directed by management, offering swift assistance to resolve data reporting and database-related issues.
  • Deliver technical guidance, support, and training to users, ensuring they effectively utilize data reporting tools.

Documentation and Best Practices:

  • Maintain and document standard operating procedures, troubleshooting manuals, and technical documentation for the data warehouse team.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for data management, storage, and retrieval across all data warehouse projects.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Carry out other duties as assigned by management to contribute to the department’s and organization’s objectives.
