Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications in data management or architecture are a plus.

Join our dynamic team at tekenable as a Senior Data Architect, where you will play a pivotal role in a major digital transformation initiative within the public sector. This position is essential for designing and implementing a comprehensive data governance framework that ensures cohesion among systems and stakeholders. Your expertise in strategic planning and technical data management will be crucial in driving secure and scalable solutions, while facilitating effective knowledge transfer across teams.

This hybrid role requires you to be on-site in Dublin for three days a week, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall engagement by developing a detailed engagement and delivery plan, ensuring all deliverables meet required standards.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of existing data workstream documentation to ensure new activities are properly aligned.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design an initial data governance roadmap and operating model that includes policies and procedures for effective data ownership and stewardship, adaptable to changes in scope and scale.
  • Document technical implementation steps for the data governance model, ensuring usability across all data storage, management, and reporting platforms.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to secure approval on the current Critical Data Elements (CDE) list and identify any additional CDEs for documentation, aligning with the Business Requirements Document (BRD) and analytical architecture.
  • Map CDEs to potential target CRM platforms based on analytics needs, resulting in detailed technical specifications and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs).
  • Enhance the migration strategy with comprehensive ETL processes, including source-to-target mappings and quality assurance checks, leading to the creation of a migration playbook and validation procedures.
  • Design synchronization for SQL Server, CRM, and analytical platforms using iPaaS, prioritizing core CDEs and producing architecture documents and design specifications.
  • Develop test cases for migration and iPaaS synchronization in collaboration with the QA lead, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all CDEs and analytics.
  • Ensure alignment of all testing and validation activities across roles.
  • Facilitate effective knowledge transfer activities.
