Qualifications:Over 15 years of experience in data engineering. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field; advanced degrees are a plus. Proficient in engaging stakeholders at various organizational levels to comprehend analytical challenges and elicit requirements. Thorough understanding of the evolution of analytical architectures, from reporting databases to advanced systems like data warehouses, data lakes, and beyond, along with the ability to technically justify architectural proposals. Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft on-premises Data Platform or equivalent technologies (SSIS, SSAS, & SSRS). Expertise in optimizing query performance and establishing high availability configurations. Familiarity with a variety of data cloud vendors, including Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., MS Fabric, ADF) or AWS (S3, Lake Formation, Glue, Redshift, Kinesis). Experience with substantial processing stores such as Databricks or Snowflake, or similar platforms. Strong foundation in Data Warehouse Architecture and Dimensional modeling. Experience with Vibe Coding (e.g., Cursor/Codex/Claude Code). Familiarity with building Agentic Frameworks and LLM orchestration (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Llamaindex, n8n). Knowledge of Agent Protocol (e.g., MCP).
