Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 4+ years of professional experience in a Data Engineer role or equivalent. Proficiency in data platforms such as Azure Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake. Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools, cloud services, and storage solutions. Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, or similar languages. Familiarity with big data technologies and concepts, including Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka. Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Have Relevant certifications in Azure Data Engineering, Databricks, or Snowflake. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Role Overview: Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer designs, develops, and maintains scalable data platforms and pipelines. This role works with technologies such as Azure Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake. Collaboration with data analysts, scientists, and other engineers is central to delivering secure and reliable data solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and build data pipelines and architectures that scale.
  • Develop solutions using cloud platforms, including Azure Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Tune and optimize data workflows for reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Work with internal teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Maintain data security and follow industry standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to data modeling, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes.
  • Recommend strategies to improve data quality and analytical capabilities.
