The Role
We are seeking a talented and commercially astute Senior Data Engineer to become a part of Unity Advisory, focusing on our Core Internal AI & Data Platform. This senior-level, hands-on engineering role involves crafting, building, and managing scalable data infrastructures that facilitate analytics, AI applications, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be pivotal in ensuring data integrity, proper modeling, governance, and accessibility for internal stakeholders.
Initially, this position will require a hands-on approach, but there will be ample opportunity to influence data standards, guide platform development, and help establish a data team as our operations expand.
What You’ll Do
At Unity Advisory, the atmosphere is dynamic and fast-paced. Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and transformation layers that support analytics and AI workloads.
Creating robust data models and semantic layers utilizing Snowflake and AWS RDS to guarantee trustworthy, analytics-ready data.
Implementing and sustaining modern data stacks across warehousing, ingestion, and orchestration tools.
Optimizing data tracking and collection frameworks, emphasizing high-quality first-party data strategies.
Embedding best practices regarding data quality, testing, observability, documentation, and reliability.
Supporting governance and compliance obligations, including GDPR and cookie regulations.
