Qualifications
ResponsibilitiesFormulate and uphold data governance policies, standards, and procedures that assure data quality, integrity, availability, and security in compliance with PCI DSS and ISO 27001.Engage collaboratively with business, security, and technical teams to delineate data ownership, stewardship, and lifecycle management, including classification, retention, archival, and secure disposal. Establish and enforce comprehensive enterprise data standards, definitions, taxonomies, and business glossaries to ensure consistent and compliant data utilization. Design and sustain data lineage and metadata management frameworks to guarantee traceability and facilitate audit and compliance efforts. Define, monitor, and report on data quality metrics, KPIs, and compliance scorecards, leading the resolution of data-related issues. Oversee enterprise data governance, security, and compliance initiatives aligned with regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.Conduct data audits, access reviews, and assessments to identify and mitigate risks pertaining to accuracy, access, and policy adherence. Collaborate with security teams to synchronize governance with DLP, encryption, access controls, and incident response strategies. Stay abreast of emerging data governance tools, privacy legislation, and security trends, recommending enhancements for compliance and operational efficiency. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Demonstrable experience in data governance, data management, or related capacities. Extensive knowledge of data governance principles, data quality, and metadata management. Familiarity with governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or Azure Purview is advantageous. Thorough understanding of PCI DSS v4.0, ISO 27001:2022, and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA. Exceptional communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Experience with data modeling and data architecture is preferred.
