Role overview
The Senior Data Migration Developer - Oracle will join Definian's offshore consulting group in Hyderabad. This position involves working directly with clients to understand business objectives, clarify data requirements, and map current data environments. The role centers on designing and delivering solutions for complex data migrations and supporting organizations as they adopt new technologies. Collaboration and mentorship from seasoned professionals are part of the day-to-day experience.
This position is well-suited to those who enjoy solving intricate client problems using data and technology, particularly in settings with large and diverse data landscapes.
What you will do
- Lead critical data requirements and collaborate with both clients and internal teams.
- Provide technology solutions for clients in sectors such as Manufacturing & Distribution, Education & Government, Consumer & Industrial Products, and Life Sciences & Healthcare.
- Analyze client data environments and recommend strategies to support future data objectives.
- Design and implement custom solutions using tools like Applaud (Definian’s proprietary software), SQL, PowerShell, Excel, and VBA.
- Use quantitative methods to uncover insights, patterns, and outcomes within data sets.
- Develop expertise in enterprise software, especially Oracle and related platforms.
